$2M Renovation Complete
The Seven Hills RSL Group has spent $2M on the Blacktown Bowling Club renovation to bring the tired looking venue into the 21st century and attract a new family market.
The Club’s upgrade includes a new restaurant, café and lounge as well as an outdoor dining deck overlooking the Club bowling greens. The new dining lounge and terrace will provide an ideal area for members and guests to enjoy a relaxing coffee, beverage and great food.
The fresh and vibrant interiors feature new carpet, lighting, ceiling and furniture as well as new restroom facilities. The renovation also includes a new wheelchair ramp leading up to the front entrance to make it fully accessible.
Due for completion at the end of October will be a new indoor children’s play area. “The new multi-level indoor kid’s playground is sure to be a hit among families and will be greatly appreciated, as parents can come along to the club and enjoy dinner and a night out together knowing their kids will be entertained,’’ said general manager Joe Bayssari.
Mr Bayssari also said the new Terrace restaurant will be serving more modern bistro meals and the reinvigorated dining area, featuring a new deck overlooking the Club Bowling greens, would bring new life into the club’s atmosphere.
‘‘The renovations are very exciting for the future of Blacktown Bowling Club and the upgraded facilities will be enjoyed by our loyal members as well as the wider local community.”
